DiversyFund: Real Estate Investing for Average Joes and Janes + $100 Credit!

Image
DiversyFund's pitch: "DiversyFund opens opportunities for the everyday investor to access high value private real estate investing through its non-traded REIT (real estate investment trust).  Protect yourself from market volatility and adopt the trusted investing strategies of the wealthy. Access private market real estate Diversify from stock markets Institutional-grade investing made easy 24/7 access through one easy platform" I can't say if this is right for you. I have money in a lot of different investments with varied risk for diversification purposes, so I did put money into this one personally and have seen good returns since doing so (a year or two ago?), but I'd probably recommend that you start out with only a small portion of your investment portfolio here if you choose to put money into it, particularly if you're risk averse and need most of your money readily accessible. The $100 makes up for a lot of that initial risk though. Referra

Ibotta: Free Groceries, Deep Discounts, and Cash Back

Image
Well, I just got home from another amusing Walmart shop with nearly as much money as I left with! (See photo below.) I feel like it keeps getting harder to get rid of my money. 😂 While that's not a problem I'm currently seeking help to resolve, I'm always happy to help anyone who'd like to be able to relate! In this particular instance , I just used ibotta to get a bunch of things I'd never pay retail for for free or cheap. Of course, I also used lots of other receipt-scanning apps and a cash back credit card as well, making this little haul borderline profitable — and the hubby did the same for double the fun — but one thing at a time! Ibotta info: Ibotta is a cash back rewards app that I use to get cash back or even make money when I go grocery shopping as well as sometimes when I make online purchases, etc. For grocery shopping, I have a quick peek in the app whenever I'm in a store and looking to see what I can use it to get free or at least discou

Buy Nothing: Everything's Free Here

Recently, a friend expressed interest in how my husband Sean and I had scooped up and old slot machine, easily worth at least $500, without having to open our wallets. It reminded me: a penny saved is a penny earned. That in mind, have you heard of the Buy Nothing project? The concept: some people post things they no longer want or need for free, some people post things they're in need of, and a lot of money and landfill space is saved. If not, search here for one near you: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&am

Free Stocks, Cash Awards, Investment Money and Tips

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, a major topic of discussion has been how to get into the market while it's down or "buy low" now so you can "sell high" later. To get you started, I've rounded up a list of brokers you can check out in case you'd like to see the different ways each is able to manage your stock and even cryptocurrency investments. To help you find which it's in your best interests to use as primary investing accounts, I would be more than happy to discuss my experiences with each as well as the promos I know of and how they all work if you'd like or you can Google them or try them out yourself! Either way, each has its pros and cons but all exist because they have their own merits AND each one I've listed gives you either fractional or whole stock shares for joining. They are all also completely free to set up, they all have mobile apps you can use to manage your account on the go, and most offer comissio
